Flint business seeking online votes to qualify for $250k grant through Chase Bank

FLINT, MI – Matthew Hall said that he isn’t asking for much.

“I just need 250 votes. I’m sitting at about 80 right now, but I need the rest of them by Nov. 15,” he said.

If Hall gets the 250 votes he needs, he’ll be entered for a chance to win a $250,000 Mission Main St. Grant, one of 12 that will be awarded to innovative small business owners across America through a contest hosted by Chase Bank.

The grant is open to business owners across the country who have been in business for more than two years and employ fewer than 100 employees.

Hall is the owner of Premier Powder Coating – a business that specializes in dry painting as opposed to wet painting – located in the Oak Business Center at 2712 N. Saginaw St. in Flint. He opened the business with his wife more than 13 years ago.

“I’m always looking for this kind of stuff to help grow the business,” Hall said. “I read the criteria (for the grant) and it said it was for small businesses with under 100 employees. I was thinking that it sounded perfect for us.” Read more — click here. (Source: http://www.mlive.com)
